When is the best time to contact you for a home build or renovation?

As early as possible! The best time to plan your IT infrastructure and map out Ethernet runs is before the drywall goes up. However, if your home is already built, we can absolutely still help you optimize your network and find the best paths for retrofitting cables or deploying high-end WiFi.

Do I need to buy hardware through you?

No. Hardware purchases are always optional. We do not sell hardware, which means we have no incentive to upsell you on expensive gear you don't need. We will provide you with a specific, tailored shopping list (like Ubiquiti UniFi gear or custom server parts), and you can buy it directly from the manufacturer or your preferred retailer.

Self-hosting means running software and services on your own hardware rather than relying on third-party providers. For example, you could host your own secure cloud storage, or stream movies and music from your own media server instead of juggling multiple subscriptions. We charge for our time and expertise—not for selling hardware. Depending on the project, we may use hourly rates, flat fees, or ongoing support agreements. Either way, we are always transparent about costs up front so there are no surprises.
